Winter at the Grand Canyon - Day 2

This was the first full day at the South Rim. It's stopped snowing and the wind isn't as strong as it was when we arrived however it's still cold. The hotel is near empty and we were told that a lot of guests had checked out shortly after the snow arrived. The Canyon has opened up for the most part and we're able to see the beautiful colors.

Here's a sample of what we saw today, enjoy.

We hope you're enjoying the images and comments as always are welcome.

  1. Okay, I think a couple of these images could've used a red bulb or a red bow on the snow covered pine. Next year, take a long coat hanger wire or grilling tongs and then you could add just a simple Christmas touch and then do a series of cards. Just a crazy thought from a crazy blonde.

You don't have to post this by the way! ;)
