Alaska – Day 31 In The Air At Denali National Park

After taking two bus rides through the park we decided to cancel our third that was scheduled for this morning (Saturday June 14th) and do something just a little bit different….

Woke to clear skies with just a little bit of clouds but nothing major.

Thanks to Scott, Mandy, and our excellent Alaskan pilot Joe we decided to see Denali National Park in a slightly different way. We took a 60 minute flightseeing from Denali Air. We can’t say enough nice words about these folks. If you’re in Denali and want to take a safe comfortable flight to see the park from the air then by all means go with Denali Air (907-683-2261).

Here are a couple technical notes of the cameras used on this flight; Sandy used a Canon G9 while Don switched back and forth between a Canon 1Ds III and a 24-70 lens and a Mamiya 645 AFD II with Phase One P30+ digital back and a 75-150 lens. We are very please to report that all cameras met or exceeded our expectations on this flight.
